Marisa and Dro’s wedding (with Miles!!!)

It’s not often that someone schedules their wedding date around my availability, but literally that is what Marisa and Dro did. They wanted a very intimate casual wedding in LaFayette square in downtown Savannah, and so we found a morning that worked for all of us, and they grabbed the minister, a friend, and their baby boy Miles and went to enjoy the perfect day!

We got a kick out of people passing by in the square taking their own photos and videos of this tiny ceremony!!! I mean, the details were still amazing: the flowers were just GORGEOUS (she had a friend make them), and her dress had her grandmother’s earrings pinned to it as a brooch, which was just beautiful. They even had a tiny wedding cupcake made by Gigi’s Cupcakes, though Marisa let me know that she had accidentally been holding it upside down in the box on the way to the ceremony. And Miles kept falling out of his shoes, but he stayed in a good mood the entire time, which is always tricky for a toddler of that age.

And as for the maid of honor/best (wo)man/babysitter Krissy that was there, she gave us all a howl when she was the one who ran to “catch the bouquet”. The only one. Since she was the only one there. It was amazing.

Enjoy this sweet, small wedding. And congrats, Marisa and Dro!
